Kerswell Farmhouse

Remote but beautiful location with views to die for. The room was extremely comfortable and beautifully furnished. Great shower too :). We were warmly welcomed by fabulous hosts. We will be back!

Beautiful views, spacious garden, perfectly isolated

The location is superb, quiet and in the heart of Devon countryside. Quality accommodation, luxury bed, very generous size room and access to lounge area. Breakfast offers a number of choices and is tasty, filling and sets you up for the day. Hosts are welcoming, friendly, professional and helpful and knowledgeable about local area, history of the area if you want to explore.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kerswell Farmhouse from the welcome to fantastic views to very tasty breakfast and excellent hosts who made our stay relaxing.

Nothing all was excellent

Graham and Nicola were perfect hosts. Their fantastic knowledge of the local area helped us to choose great restaurants and days out during our stay. Highlights of our trip included a day in Dartmouth and National Trust visits to Coleton Fishacre and Overbecks garden. Their house and grounds are delightful with fabulous views over the South Hams in Devon. Dartmoor National Park is also close by. Graham has maps and booklets and great advice on any area that you choose to visit. Home produced bacon, eggs, sausages , jams and marmalades and homegrown cut flowers in the room. Beyond exceptional!

Didn’t see the point of the sitting room and the sitting room had a musty smell we didn’t use it The blinds were not working in the bedroom Every night there was a pump or something noisy The road was noisy There are no facilities close buy even the pub is a good distance away for an evening meal

Kerswell Farmhouse was such a gem to find.. we were expecting to stay at a lovely location but it exceeded all of our expectations. Such a beautiful location with far reaching views , peaceful and very comfy accommodation. Wonderful helpful hosts who were happy to offer suggestions for interesting places to visit, best routes to reach them and who have lots of knowledge of the area and its history. Nichola's breakfasts were fantastic! All options covered but the cooked breakfast should not be missed! Will return!

The location, room, and hosts were amazing, I couldn’t have asked for a better trip away. Nichola and Graham were fantastic hosts, I felt immediately at home and relaxed, and the grounds were so beautiful to wander around in. The room and dining area were decorated with lovely pieces of art and artefacts collected by Graham, and he kindly gave me a tour of his studio ceramics collection.
