"The best place to stay in Halifax!!"

Absolutely beautiful property the best stay I’ve had in years! We didn’t want to come home, the hosts were so friendly very easy to find/park the view was incredible and the little touches of Anne Lister thought out were a beautiful touch! Breakfast is also beautiful will definitely be returning xx

"A Gem in Halifax."

It was easy to find and perfectly situated to nearby attractions. The room was very spacious, bed very comfortably, and the view stunning. The inn is tidy, charming and very quiet. Our hosts also provided a lovely breakfast made to order.

Very characterful, lovely comfy bed, clean linens, and bonus of no plumbing noises! The breakfast was great 👍🏻

Room 3 was at the rear so some cobblestone road noise- earplug sorted that( I do have exceptional hearing) and a light over the bathroom mirror would be a bonus. Shower control took a bit of getting used to.
