O da Joana

This is by far the best experience I have ever had staying anywhere across the world. Joana went out of her way to make us feel welcome and to accommodate our needs. We were travelling with our 7 month old, and she made all sorts of provisions like washing our sheets when he had an accident, letting us check out later to make us as comfortable as possible. Then the room itself was huge, extremely clean and just absolutely gorgeous. The bed was comfortable and there wasn't any noise so we slept like babies. I would come back to Porto just to stay here!

Clean, spacious, and great locations for walking around Porto

Beautifully presented and well preserved historic building, spacious room with great facilities, a nice breakfast and Joana was a superb host.

The location is slightly out of the centre but a close enough walk and away from the busy tourist hotspots.

Joana, is a wonderful accommodating hostess. She awaited our arrival, gave us whatever we needed (extra blanket, umbrellas, information, maps, directions) to make our stay pleasant. Her home is lovely, situated well, near the centre, public transit, and shopping. Very large, quiet room, modern washroom, with good water pressure, views of street, and fresh breakfast foods, provided early for us on departure day. Good internet and TV. Thank you for making our stay special:)

Had Joana been able to improve the weather, she would have done so! Fortunately, she had very large umbrellas and a good heating system to deal with the rather unexpected cool and windy weather we had.

Wonderful location. Great size room. Amazing host.
