The best place where we stayed during our visit in Portugal! Joana was an amazing host and made sure that we were comfortable with recommending places. The place itself is a nice modern apartment located in a quiet traditional street with walking distance to a lot of famous landmarks and the train station Campamha. Buffet breakfast was also delicious with great selection!

We absolutely loved everything. The house and our room were exceptional. Large, spacious and extremely comfortable. The bathroom was clean and modern with a great shower. The bed was very comfortable and so quiet at night, we slept really well. Our host Joanna was kind, friendly and thoughtful. Always on hand to help or give advice and very quick to respond. The house is in a brilliant area, in a lovely suburb not far from the city center. Fantastic bus and metro links all within 5 mins walk and loads of great places to eat and drink very nearby, a ten minute walk. I would highly recommend staying here.

That we couldn't stay longer.

I can highly recommend Joana's place. The apartement is very close to Campo 24 Augosto metro station ( 5 minutes walk ) and easily available either from the Train station ( Campanha ) and the airport. The street is an absolutely authentic Portugal street so it is a sight itself. The room was a little puritane, facing to the backyard (you will not care when you return from your all-day walking around the city) although there is everything you need, bathroom, nice shower, very comfy bed, good wifi. The room was very clean, perfect in this regard. Believe me, in Porto you will spend very limited time in your room (at least awake) and you get every bits for a relaxing night. Ice on cake - Joana ! She is incredibly flexible and careful host, very warm hearted and she looks for every tiny wishes you may have. Good restaurants are in easy reach (500 m or so) and all the sights in the city are within a 2 km diameter circle. GO WALK! Finally, do not forget to pin your home on Joana's Earth in the dining room, it's really interesting to see how many of us from how far places visited here.

I was in a need of a hairdryer but did not find it in the bathroom, perhaps it was somewhere else in the room - I did not search any further. I'm certain Joana would have provided one immediately but I was not picky at 11 p.m. That's all, really.
