Rocklands House Bed and Breakfast

What a gorgeous place with an amazing view looking over the river. It was a lovely place to unwind at the end of the day and only a short walk into town. Thankyou John for your warm welcome, your delicious breakfast and sharing your Irish Soda Bread recipe!

Spacious property set slightly out of town with magnificent views. Room had a balcony with sea views. Large sitting area. Breakfast home cooked. Freshly baked scones! Outside seating area overlooking the water.

Lovely home with beautiful gardens in an outstandingly scenic location on top of Signal Hill, Kinsale overlooking the River Bandon as it flows into Kinsale's Bay. 4-star, very comfortable, bedrooms with Juliet balconies and a lovely large lounge/dining room with excellent views. John, our host, was excellent - very friendly and knowledgeable. Lovely breakfast - cereals, fresh fruit, chocolate croissants, scrambled eggs with large portions of smoked salmon and delicious scones.

This was a fantastic stay. The house and gardens are just beautiful with a stunning view of the water. John was an excellent host, even driving us to town! His breakfast was exceptional and the conversation even better. Thank you John!
