Manoir Sainte Victoire

Handige locatie voor bezoeken aan de D-Day stranden. Zeer vriendelijke eigenaar die iedere ochtend een heerlijk ontbijtje verzorgd met croissants, stokbrood, beleg, yoghurt en een vers gemaakt omelet.

The Manoir Sainte Victoire is located in a lovely part of the town near the Cathedral & easy walk to shops & sights. Atmospheric views of beautiful old townhouses and rooftops from the windows. Comfortable bed, space to move round room, bonus little kitchenette very useful. Great breakfast and welcoming host. No parking at hotel but spaces around nearby park were free and only a 2 min walk. Excellent place would definitely stay again.

The room was up a steep spiral staircase which I managed despite not being spritely but you might ask for a room on the lower level if you were worried. i spent some time talking to the one-eyed cat in the garden who then went and sat on my husband’s lap not mine!

The owner was delightful! `he helped us many times with our travel concerns prior to arriving and after. Franck was simply outstanding! The breakfasts were phenomenal. We had early morning travel needs that were accommodated to fit our time schedule.

I can think of nothing not to our liking.

The host was very friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. Our room was nice and the bed was comfortable. The location was an easy walk from restaurants.

The Wifi was 2.4 G service, which was not good. We could see with the Wifi network choices that there was 5 G, but it was not the one offered. There are many stairs in a narrow (winding) stairway to some of the rooms which can be difficult for people with mobility issues.

What an enchanting place to stay in Bayeux. Fantastic location and the owner is so very attentive .

No air conditioning but we knew that going in and we were comfortable with the fan provided ( and it was a hot day! )

Location was perfect. The room was very nice and the outside garden was lovely.
