Manoir Sainte Victoire

A gorgeous 17th century tower building, with beautifully finished rooms which are large and comfortable. Frank is wonderful - very helpful, friendly and makes delicious omelettes for breakfast! We would highly recommend it.

The Manoir is extremely charming and well kept. We received an excellent breakfast every morning. Our omelet was carefully prepared by Franck daily. Coffee, tea, and orange juice options. Fresh Croissants, bread, rolls, preserves, butter, yogurt, and fresh fruit. Our room was roomy with a stting area and was very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. Traditional coffee/tea service was provided. Room darkening curtains and shutters were a nice touch. The property is in a quiet section of Bayeux, several blocks up hill from the Cathedral and "Main Street". A short manageable walk. BooBoo, a majestic older cat greeted us daily while sunning himself in the gated courtyard. I would highly recommend staying at Manoir Sainte Victoire. It will be my first choice during our next visit to Bayeux.

FYI. No elevator, just a cool circular stone stairwell for two of the rooms. Everythingwas outstanding! !

The host was excellent, friendly and informative. The room in the tower where we were was lovely and romantic with a view of the cathedral. And, Frank carried our luggage up and down for us. The bathroom was excellent. The breakfast was truly exceptional with a variety of fruits, sweets, breads, yogurts and offer of omelets. The location was excellent and we could walk everywhere in Bayeux. You can understand why this place is one of those recommended by Rick Steves. So good.

The parking is up the road and easy, but we wonder if that is the case in full tourist season. If you cannot do spiral stairs, this is not the place for you. However, we loved being up in "our" tower.

Amazing decor in a legit 15th century tower. Perfect location for touring & restaurants. Amazing views from the windows. Nice shower & sitting area. Delicious omelets & croissants at breakfast.

Owners could have been more welcoming & gracious.

Would have liked a sheet between the bed cover and the covered mattress.
