Belton Bed and Breakfast

We had a wonderful stay at the Belton Bed & Breakfast. We were in town for a wedding and we were thankful to find an accommodation so close to the wedding venue. Everything exceeded out expectations. The house is beautiful and the room had everything we needed and more. If I am ever back in the area I will stay here again!

it was a good location for our needs. The views were pastoral and beautiful. The home appeared to be gorgeous but we were never invited in so I cannot comment on that.

we booked and paid for a deluxe suite at a gorgeous Bed and Breakfast six months in advance. we love B&B because we love meeting folks and hearing the history and seeing charming homes. we arrived to a cold dark home. we had messaged the host multiple times that day and called with no success. a workman smoking on the porch said the owners were not home. he called his boss who was working on the barn. he came and said he had spoken to the owner and would show us to our room. which was in an open barn (straw covered floor and animals). a tiny tin covered uninsulated tack room was converted to a TINY bed/bath with a lumpy uncomfortable bed and a tiny space heater. we thought it was a joke! finally heard from the host the next afternoon offering a refund but we never got the refund

Rachel was pleasant Bed was comfortable Bathroom shower was nice and also served as creator of “steam room” in the morning to allow for some heat in the bathroom to take a shower, Good location for access to Clemson University Room was clean

One of the primary issues is that it is presented as a Bed and BREAKFAST. I have never stayed at a Bed & Breakfast where “Breakfast” was “optional” if it was presented as a Bed and Breakfast. This was compounded by the fact that when offered breakfast that would be brought to my room the only method of payment was a cash forwarding system Venmo which I do not have an account. You also do not know that breakfast is NOT included until after you booked and can not cancel without having to pay for the room. I offered to pay cash for the breakfast but did not receive a response. Plus there was no option in the room like other bed and breakfast’s where by you could pick from a menu card what items you would like brought to you. I would recommend that they just include the $10 breakfast charge in their room fee and just provide the breakfast with the aforementioned menu card that can be either brought to the main house the night before or hung on the door to be collected. Mini space heater not sufficient to heat both bedroom and bathroom. -When I asked for an additional space heater I was told husband would be notified but never received a response either way - Plus no instructions on how to operate The space heater and even if I got one there was No useable electric outlets in the bathroom Coffee cup just a tad bit bigger than an espresso cup - luckily I had the paper cup from dinner to use in AM Incredibly annoying dryer right outside the room - that was on a cycle that started and stopped every minute and would run for a few seconds and shut off and then start again until I turned it off after 1000PM. In the morning I departed before sunrise and the barn where this room was (I was not notified of room’s location until after I booked and could not cancel without penalty of payment) - there were lights earlier but no lights to lead me out in the morning to assist my way to my car - COMPLETE DARKNESS

My wife and I were kinda concerned about a room in a barn, but we were pleasantly surprised.

Lack of electrical outlets in bathroom. Bed mattress was a little soft for us

Everything !! From the moment we walked in we fell in love with this perfectly presented character house and it’s surroundings. Rach & Tim are perfect hosts snd their children have the most perfect manners ! There’s some history to this house so delve a bit for more info :-) The closest time is Anderson. Breakfast is plentiful so don’t miss out on this perfect place to stop and rewind x

It was Great! We were so amazed!!

The toilet kept stopping up but my husband finally found a plunger! The code to lock the door never did work and I didn't want to keep bothering you!

Beautiful setting, clean and comfy.
