Zia Yaya

Very nice location, superb sunset view from the terrace and from the room. Great breakfast, the owner was vey friendly and looked after us extremely well. She organised the restaurant for us and it was great value for money. Free parking, but only suitable for small cars. Quite an adventure getting back onto the main road, but no problem.(Larger vehicles could park at the restaurant above the apartment, but 100m or so away. I guess the owner would carry your luggage down in her car, if asked...)

Maria, our hostess, so kind and generous, looked after every thing we might possibly need—an excellent and copious breakfast, practical advice, a welcoming glass of wine and anything else she could think of we might appreciate. The place is spotless, the bed is comfortable and the terrace lovely. Its location, along the trail to the Skywalk, is perfect— quiet and cheerful.

Amazing location, and view next to the sea. Marie and her daughter were beyond kind and helpful. The friendliness, , and kindness were beyond what I’ve ever experienced. The loveliest warmest people you could ever hope to meet. ❤️❤️

Nothing, all was perfect

I can't say enough about Maria and Zia Yaya. She makes sure every need of her guests is met. I arrived behind schedule after dark and she picked me up at the station. She even made me a wonderful snack. Zia Yaya is a gem and Maria treats her guests like family. The room was immaculate with a breathtaking view of the Gulf. I would stay there again without hesitation.

Public transportation is scarce so getting around is difficult without a car.

THIS IS THE VERY BEST PLACE WE HAVE STAYED WITH BOOKINGS, AND WEVE STAYED IN A LOT. THE APPARTMENT IS ON THE SHORE NEXT TO THE SEA, IT IS SO PERFECT IT CANNOT BE DESCRIBED, ADD TO THIS, THE MOST WONDERFUL HOST WE HAVE EVER HAD, SUCH A LOVELY LADY, AND THE VERY BEST BREAKFAST YOU COULD EVER WISH FOR, THIS DESERVES TO BE THEIR VERY TOP PROPERTY, WE HAVE SUBMITTED IT TO "LONELY PLANET GUIDE TO ITALY" IT IS THAT GOOD

Beautiful location, quiet and 5 minutes drive to towns with great restaurants. Room was a great size, everything was thought of. 5 minute walk to the new skywalk which was such a peaceful walk with incredible views over Maratea.

Nothing, the drive to the property is narrow much like a lot of Italian backroads but Maria will meet you and you can follow her to the property.

The accommodation was quiet clean roomy with a picturesque view the hostess was most obliging and the breakfast was superb plenty of parking space a touch hard to find so we WhatsApp her and she came to our rescue at the nearby restaurant excellent value for money Barbara Tony
