The rooms were clean, and the beds were relatively comfortable. The reception area and breakfast area were well done and appealing (not that we would know because we were not even told when breakfast was available).

We booked two rooms that were inexplicably far apart. Although the booking was for four people, one room had only a single towel, no hand towel, and broken towel rails that had clearly not been repaired. The bathroom in one room was enormous but poorly designed, with the bed pushed up against the open bathroom doors, making the space awkward and difficult to move around. To make matters worse, the room key was missing, and the person who assisted us showed little interest in finding a spare so we could secure the room. While this may have been due to regular staff being on holiday leave, the overall experience was disappointing. We left on our onward journey as soon as possible, about 7 AM, as there was no point in staying around longer. I would not return or recommend this accommodation.
