Optimum Residencies

Das Hotel wird vom Eigentümer vorort geführt und das macht sich sehr schnell positiv bemerkbar. Besonders die Dame ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir waren 1 Nacht mit unserem 14 jährigen Sohn dort. Wir hatten Schwierigkeiten Bahntickets online zu kaufen, das Ehepaar hat uns an ein lokales Reisebüro vermittelt und wir haben nur 1/3 des Preises im Vgl zu Get your Guide bezahlt. Das Frühstück war lecker und reichlich. Uns hat der Service so gut gefallen, dass wir das Hotel für unsere letzte Nacht storniert haben und am Ende nochmal im Optimum Residenz übernachten werden.

Der Flughafenshuttle hat sehr gut funktioniert, was nach einem langen Flug sehr angenehm ist. Die Anlage ist ganz wunderbar, fast ein bisschen wie im Dschungel. Herrliche Pflanzen und zwei Pools. Das Zimmer war eher einfach, hat uns aber für eine Nacht gut gepasst. Das Frühstück am nächsten Morgen war phänomenal! Es gab unglaublich viele köstliche Dinge, Obst, Hoppers, Curry mit Reis, eine Art Pfannkuchen mit köstlicher Füllung, Toasts mit Butter und Marmelade und vieles mehr. Wir waren wirklich begeistert. So ein Frühstück haben wir in einem Hotel mit vergleichbarem Preis in Sri Lanka nicht mehr gefunden.

This is an absolute little gem. So cute and tidy, everything you could possibly want, powerboats, adapters, kettle, fridge. Beautiful gardens and pool, and amazing breakfast.

10/10 - We only booked for one day because of our layover in CMB but the place was amazing. Location was great 15-20 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes from Negombo beach park. We had lunch there and it was authentic Sri Lankan taste and we loved it. There are 2 pools on the property we did not use it but saw few families there. The whole scenery with coconut trees was really calm. Best of all was the staff. The manager was so helpful and always smiling and willing to help. They also gave us a drop to the airport. Overall best for the value.

We really loved the special care and attention of the family during our stay. They really took us to shopping for my daughter’s swim suit on the first day of our stay.

Breakfast could have been better

The hotel was very new and clean. All the people in the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Food was very good. And the free transfer from the airport was very convenient and easy

Wir hatten das Glück und konnten bereits vor dem eigentlichen Check-in in unser Zimmer. In der Unterkunft herrscht eine ruhige Atmosphäre und wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Alle Angestellten sind sehr freundlich und haben uns immer gern weitergeholfen. Zum Frühstück gab es eine riesen Auswahl an leckeren Essen.

Unser Zimmer war im Erdgeschoss und wir haben dort immer den Vorhang zugezogen um so unsere Privatsphäre zu habe

Great location to spend the night before or after the flight. Really enjoyed the breakfast and the onsite restaurant. Friendly staff.
