Station House

Close to the station and easy to find. The house is old, but it's very clean and tidy. The bathroom was immaculate. Breakfast snacks were a nice touch.

Sharing 1 bathroom (bath with shower + toilet) between 5 rooms was a little worrying. I think most of the rooms were empty the night we stayed but if it's busier, it might be inconvenient. Either way, we knew what we signed up for. There is technically a separate toilet, but it's so small myself (a small woman) could barely fit in. I also couldn't find the light to it. We didn't really meet anyone while there. We got the number of our key lockbox an hour after we already checked in, so just had to guess and try the code on all of them until one worked. Little pricey for what it is.

I love the fact that it is very close to the train station, and it takes less than 4 minutes to catch the train to work.

Very good value for the price, we had everything we needed sort of surpassed our expectations really. It wasn’t a luxurious stay and we definitely got enough luxury for the price we paid. Great connection to the train and bus station if you’re a commuter or just touring. Phillipe showed up really fast to let us back in the room when we locked ourselves out and was an absolute gentleman.

Very well located for the railway station, walking to shops and restaurants, and buses to Harwell Science campus

The room was quite small, and with a shared bathroom you have to be patient for the morning shower!
