B&B La dimora di Katiu'

I got asked about the check-in time, and i mentioned that we’ll arrive late in the evening. So far so good, the owner told me to write 30 min before arrival, so at around 20:00 my wife wrote them that we’ll be arriving be at 21:30. Here comes the surprise, we got asked to pay extra 20€ for late check-in(nothing was said before) We did not confirmed anything, but guess what, the husband shows up at the check-in, no way to communicate, as he could not speak nor understand any other language than Italian. He did not left until we payed the 20€ extra, for late check-in, money for which we got no bill, nothing! They both stayed strong on the fact that in the booking is mentioned(Special information field) that after 21:00 o’clock an extra 20€ is to be payed for late check-in. But she could have just wrote us on the messages, like attention don’t be later then 21:00, otherwise extra cost is to be bear. Without being bad, but one thing is for sure in Italy very common, they try to robe money from Tourists for each and every small thing. I just hope more people are seeing this, and chose other places to visit on this earth where people makes difference.

We enjoyed the easy check in and check out process, Katia's husband was very nice in welcoming us. We found easy free parking on the street and the b&b is very close to the center, 15 min max to the main attractions.

Very clean. Suited the 6 of us. On first floor but had a lift. Big plus

No issues

Newly renovated clean and modern space. The breakfast was simple but nice and we could park right outside of the property. It was easy to walk everywhere and we enjoyed the neighborhood.
