B&B Villa Maria

Sehr sauber, freundlicher Empfang und herzliches Willkommen, in der Unterkunft fehlt es an nichts und es sieht alles wie neu renoviert aus ( was es wohl auch ist). Sehr gutes Bett, ich habe herrlich geschlafen! Badezimmer geräumig und Dusche ein Traum! Gute Lage gleich neben dem Bahnhof und trotzdem ruhig. Gratis Transfer in die Marina am nächsten Morgen.

Perfect location, 2 minute walk from the train station. If you want easy access to the entire eastern coast of Sicily? It doesn’t get any better than this. The host, Rosy, is super sweet and helpful, serving breakfast everyday at whatever time we wanted, and helping us finding the substitute bus for the circumetnea train, which were partially closed during our stay (Easter 2026).

There was nothing that we didn’t like during our stay. One minor thing might be that the description on Booking.com says that the swimming pool is open all year round, which is clearly not the case, as it was closed during our stay. To be fair, the weather was quilte cold most of the time, so it was understandable that is was closed.

assolutamente niente

Tout était parfait. L’établissement était très propre, la piscine est un gros + vu la chaleur. Le logement est tout près de la gare et vous pouvez tout faire en train (Catane, Taormine, Syracuse…) En plus, il y a une très bonne pizzeria juste à côté du logement et plusieurs bons restaurants à 10min à pied. Je recommande !

This is a grand old villa that is mid renovation. Its a beautiful old building with loads of character. Our room was excellent and we had a large terrace to sit and watch the world ( and trains !) go by. The location is one of the best parts of this accommodation as its proximity to the station makes it a great spot for exploring other parts of the area. You can also catch the circumetnea from here as well as Taormina only being 20 mins and Catania only 25 or so minutes as well. Our favourite part was cooling off in the pool after our travels every day, and the beach is also walkable from here. Our host was welcoming and attentive. Highly recommend !

A kettle in the room would be a bonus.

L’accueil, le jardin,les chambres. L’établissement est en cours de rénovation, mais tout est fait avec goût et avec de très beaux matériaux. Merci à Maria pour ses conseils et son chaleureux accueil.
