Everything was great, our stay there was amazing despite the situation with the car. So thanks a lot to James and Gillian for their hospitality. They are wonderful!!! 😊 They are very accommodating!

Gillian, our host, was our favorite part of the stay! She was so interesting and helpful, and went above and beyond to find a way to return a cellphone we left there. Our room had a nice view of Mt. Taranaki. Hawera was an overnight for us, not a destination, but it was a lovely stop near Hollard Gardens and the Forgotten World Highway.

From the north, the driveway was tricky to pinpoint right after an intersection, but not a big deal.

It was very clean well maintained you are treated like family And all round great place to stay and they can accommodate a large family

There was not a thing to dislike

Lovely home with charming hostess. Beautifully maintained with excellent breakfast and great garden.

Fossil Coast B & B. I was always under the impression that a B & B was Bed & Breakfast. Not at this place, but you could pay extra for b/fast if you wanted it. Maybe their advertising should be corrected.
