NZI would give Muddy creek cutting 13/10 if I could. Kevin and Doug were exceptional hosts, the stay at Muddy Creek was a highlight of our rail trail trip. The sauna was amazing and the fact that the hosts had the fire roaring for us when we arrived and first thing in the morning was a wonderful touch.

NZI loved staying here - the art, the outdoor area, the animals, and the lovely breakfast. It felt so peaceful and it was very well equipped.

CZÚžasné místo téměř na samotě a přitom na legendární cyklistické stezce Otago Rail Trail. Kevin je velmi milý a vstřícný hostitel, který rád vyjde vstříc.

GBThis property was FULL of character and had a variety of places to relax and sit. The property was warm with a welcoming real fire - so inviting. Although everyone shared the same Kitchen and living room space, it felt very homely. Host was very kind and welcoming. Beds comfy, warm and plenty of fresh towels. A light Breakfast was provided - thank you.
Shared bathroom, but it all worked out ok with other guests. If we wanted eggs, we had to cook them ourselves (which was understandable to avoid waste) but apart from that, Breakfast was simple and effective. Thank you.

DENZGreat place to stay while biking the rail trail. Very helpful with helping us sort somewhere to eat that evening.
The single bed could do with updating. Very saggy and uncomfortable.
