Hari Niwas Guest House

Dans une rue très passante d'Udaipur, l hôtel est relativement préservé par le brouhaha du trafic routier. Les chambres sont réparties sur plusieurs étages autour d'un puits de lumière. La salle de restaurant (pt déj) est au rez de chaussée. Le personnel est "aux petits soins" du matin au soir... Le pt déjeuner est très correct... (oeufs compris). La déco est agréable avec des peintures sur les murs du patio.. des sièges permettent de se relaxer devant la chambre. Les vues du rooftop sur le palace d'Udaipur (son arrière) sont originales. Le rooftop servira aussi pour sécher son linge... Prévoir env. 50E pour 1 nuit à 2 avec pt dej. Tout est visitable à pied depuis l'hôtel et les conseils de la responsable pour éclaireront utilement pour choisir des restaurants pour diner au bord du lac.

Merci à toute la famille pour l'excellent accueil. Tous les trois ils se pliaient en 4 pour nos demandes. Ils nous ont laissé des chambres - sans supplément- jusqu'au départ de notre bus à minuit! La situation est également très bien, avec l'accès à pied facile aux principales activités et attractions. Les restaurants à proximité.

Wonderful Haveli in the middle of Udaipur. Beautiful big and clean rooms. Great bathroom with hot shower. Lovingly furnished with great attention to detail. But the hospitality of the family enjoyed us the most. So helpful in all things (sights, train bookings, restaurant recommendations etc). Great breakfast. It was like "to be at home". Rarely used to so beautiful in India.

One of the best places I stopped during my time in India. All the staff were really friendly and went above and beyond to make sure my time here was pleasant. Lovely spacious rooms that were spotlessley clean, efficient air conditioning, and delicious breakfast. Really enjoyed my stay here.

Spacious, clean, nicely decorated and large room with good bathroom. Nice seating area to enjoy and a super rooftop view of the palace at night. We had a room upgrade which was very welcome. The two sisters and brother that run this place are fantastic hosts, more like good friends. Plenty of sightseeing suggestions, masala chai and conversation. We had continental breakfast here too which was plentiful.

All was just great.

The best accommodation that we stayed in during our trip to the north of India. The family were lovely, they gave recommendations on what to see in Udaipur, cooked an amazing breakfast and always asked if we needed any tea, coffee, water when we got back from our sightseeing. They cooked us dinner our 1st night and I really recommend trying it. The food was very tasty and it was excellent value for money. The entire guest house was incredibly clean and the location was fantastic. I cannot recommend this place enough. If I was ever back in Udaipur I would not stay anywhere else.
