Waiotahi Valley Lodge

Great breakfast and layout of shared well equipped kitchen was good. Rooms very comfortable and great location with jacuzzi! Air con and good TV cinnection to channels.

WiFi very intermittent. Road to lodge a bit rough for cars that aren't 4 WD. Lack of waste bins for rubbish in bedrooms.

Very friendly and helpful owners.

Die Inhaber sind super freundlich, nett und sympathisch. Die Ausstattung hervorragend und super sauber. Wir haben die Geschichten und Tipps der Inhaber sehr gemocht und die Gespräche waren sensationell. Die eine Nacht fühlte sich wie ein kurz Urlaub an.

Wow! Fabulous ! Great host and property! We had our doors open to a lovely garden ! Enjoyed his hot tub after a long journey to get to NZ! Nice little breakfast in the morning with fellow guests !

Loved everything

We booked for a night before our Pinnacles hike the next day. Beautiful home and what a fantastic location! Soaking in the spa and listening to native rūrū/morepork and kākā in the surrounding bush was pretty special - even did a bit of astro photography before bed. Warren and my partner had good yarns about planes, so I left them to it haha. We hope to come back and explore other activities in and around Thames.

Friendly guys running the Lodge, with loads of advice for things to see in the area. Breakfast was nice and the rooms were comfortable.

There was a musty /damp smell in the drawers in our room, so we didn't use them. There was plenty of storage space otherwise. Only one shower between 3 rooms (6 guests) was a shame.
