Gran Jaguar Hotel

Es un hotel correcto para lo caro que es todo en Bacalar. Está limpio, todo el personal es súper amable y servicial y está bien ubicado.

La cama y la almohada nos resultaron poco cómodas, no es una habitación acogedora.

Rachel, die Chefin hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen. Es gab lecker Frühstück im Garten:)

10 min walk to Centro

Très bel hébergement neuf. La propreté est irréprochable, la climatisation si besoin, une douche chaude avec un fort débit. Très bon accueil. 1,5kms de la gare ADO , on a pris un taxi car il pleuvait énormément à notre arrivée, pour 50 pesos. 10 MNS à pied du lagon. Pour les personnes qui ont un véhicule, parking gratuit devant l'hôtel. Le petit déjeuner est servi dans le jardin et il est copieux et très bon. Situation dans une rue calme et tranquille. Pas de bruit. C'était parfait.

Placé par trop loin du centre ville de Bacalar , on peut tout faire à pieds

I really enjoyed my stay here for so many reasons: I slept like a log, breakfast with eggs al gusto, toast, jam, coffee and fruit was delightful, so impressed with the water container for water bottle refills and the bed and room were soooo comfortable. La laguna is amazing. On top of that, the hotel has the most charming hostess Rachel, who was welcoming and helpful with some great suggestions and a really useful map. Thank you for pointing out the toucanitos in the garden. That was special! Thanks Rachel!

I liked everything, but maybe a kettle and a range of teas by the kitchen for the afternoon/ evening would be a plus.

Rachel was simply the best host! She made us feel very comfortable since the first moment and explained about Bacalar main attractions. She also prepared us an early/packed breakfast for the last day since we were leaving quite early, and helped us with taxi booking. The room was simple but nice, just what we needed.

Bacalar is a small town, so sometimes the pavements are not 100% which can be tricky if you're walking with a piece of carry-on lugagge (but this has nothing to do with the Gran Jaguar hotel).
