"I cannot recommend this place enough! Kate the owner is a star and her staff are all brilliant!"

Felt like home from home! The warmest of welcomes, lovely home cooked meals, the bar is well stocked both very reasonably priced and the parking was safe and secure. Set in a quite vulgar location , 5 mins walk to the beach yet 20 mins drive to Windermere!

Absolutely nothing.. 10/10

"Really enjoyed our stay. Staff excellent. Nice clean room."

Good full breakfast, room nice and clean, comfortable bed. Main meal very good value.

En suite a little on the small side. Walkway in car park not level in parts. ( Ground surface difficult in parts for us walking to the car. )

"Great Pub with rooms in a small village."

The Ship is clean, and the room was very nice. Evening meal was lovely Breakfast was great Great staff Katie is doing a great job at thr Ship Inn

"Well worth it"

The location in an unspoiled period correct village is superb. The lady who keeps it wants you to enjoy your stay. The rooms were of a very high standard. I don’t usually write reviews but I feel compelled to in this case
