Sri Lancashire Guest House

Our stay at Sri Lankashire Guest House was excellent. From the moment we arrived, they were incredibly kind and welcoming. Before we left, they even gave us a small souvenir, which was such a lovely and thoughtful gesture. The breakfast was absolutely amazing — without a doubt the best we had in Sri Lanka. The quality and quantity of food were incredible, truly outstanding. She, especially, was extremely kind and helpful with us throughout our stay. She went out of her way to help us order dinner when we were having trouble with our phone. In the end, when we didn’t order because it seemed too expensive, they kindly offered us their own dinner, which was an incredibly generous gesture that we will never forget. The room was very comfortable and had a great terrace, perfect to relax. The location is also very good, very close to the beach. They also helped us with transport, even taking us by tuk-tuk to exchange money without charging extra, which we really appreciated. Overall, a wonderful experience thanks to their kindness and hospitality. We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again. Than you for all. Claudia and Pablo

Sehr außergewöhnliche Unterkunft. Das beste was wir in 4 Wochen Sri Lanka erlebt hatten. Die Besitzer sind sehr sehr freundlich, vor allem Nishanthi mit Ihrer warmherzigen Art….. man fühlt sich von Anfang an wie zuhause. Die Zimmer sind sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und mit Blumen geschmückt. Das tägliche Frühstück ist einfach nur Mega. Sehr reichhaltig und lecker. Jeder Wunsch wird von den Lippen abgelesen. Es gibt absolut nichts negatives.

Wir wurden super herzlich mit Blumenkette und einem Kokosgetränkt empfangen und aufgenommen. Das Zimmer war blitzeblank sauber und hatte einen Balkon auf dem das Frühstück serviert wurde. Das Frühstück war grandios und so viel das wir noch genügend zum Mittagessen hatten. Es wurde sogar extra eine Tüte hierfür bereitgestellt. Uns wurden tolle Restaurants und eine Bootssafari empfohlen, zu denen wir dann mit dem TukTuk gefahren und wieder abgeholt wurden.

War alles prima, es gab nichts auszusetzen.

Superbe maison d'hôte très bien décorée, de superbes chambres décorées avec bon goût, toutes équipées, avec pleins de fleurs partout en arrivant 😁 Le petit déjeuner était le meilleur que nous ayons eu durant notre séjour au Sri Lanka. C'est situé dans une impasse très calme, juste à côté de la plage, sur laquelle nous pouvons profiter de transats ombragés. Les hôtes sont d'une grande gentillesse et très serviable. Allez y sans hésitation !

Also wirklich ein super schöner Aufenthalt. Einfach eine mega Empfehlung! Alles typisch für Sri Lanka: tolles guesthouse, ein wahnsinns Frühstück - was wir so nicht wieder in Sri Lanka hatten, und ein tolles Zimmer mit Balkon. Dort wurde auch das Frühstück serviert. Unbedingt machen! Es gab auch einen Strand wo niemand war.

Wonderful place to stay. The best we have been looked after in any hotel I've ever stayed in. The people are amazing, they couldn't do enough for us. Really lovely people. The rooms are stunning, so large. We had an enormous balcony where we were served an incredible breakfast. Location is perfect, right across the road from a lovely beach. the owner even took us across to sort us out some free sun beds. Would recommend to anyone to stay here. I hope I get to stay here again in the future

Parfait ! Tout est fait pour que vous vous sentiez bien. Les hôtes sont adorables. L’hôtel est très beau et très propre. Le petit déjeuner excellent sur votre propre terrasse. On est ravie de notre séjour.

The hosts were amazing. Couldn’t do enough for us ! They even welcomed us with a lei of flowers at a 2.30 am check in! The best breakfast (served to our balcony ) during 3 months of travel, presented to perfection, and so much that it lasted us all day. Beach across the road, 2 mins walk! Great to have a fridge and kettle with tea/coffee 😊Would def return and for much longer next time. Lovely people ❤️🥰
