This accommodation was absolutely great! The best accommodation in Sri Lanka. The room is very clean and well equipped. The bed is very comfortable, pillows too. The room has air conditioning, fan and access to a spacious balcony. The host is very nice and helpful. The host greeted us very friendly and prepared fresh flower in the room. The host speaks English and recommended us to take the bus to the airport, he had a very personable approach, picked us up at the bus stop when we arrived. For dinner the host took us by tuktuk to their favourite restaurant (the name is Wave) and picked us up again by tuktuk after dinner. It was possible to leave our backpacks downstairs at the front desk after check out. Breakfast was fabulous. We had a big and very good breakfast (pineapple juice, a full plate of fruit, eggs and toast with jam and butter, and there were a few Sri Lankan specialties). Highly recommended! Absolutely perfect.

Our group loved everything about our stay at Sri Lancashire GH. The breakfast was the best we experienced in Sri Lanka. Accommodation just gorgeous. Just a 5 minute walk to the beach. Nisthanthe and Wasthante very helpful with suggestions of things to do and will provide transfers to airport, shops for a reasonable fee

Fantastic place - with an exceptionally friendly staff. The service level was far higher than expected, and in a very welcoming manner. We have stayed in many places in Sri Lanka and in Asia in general - but this place is by far the best place we have stayed in terms of quality, atmosphere and price.

We had the most wonderful welcome when we arrived. Our room was spacious and full of flowers. The balcony was a lovely place to sit and enjoy the best breakfasts we had in our entire 6 week trip. Our hosts were so friendly and helpful, took us across the road to the beach where they had sun loungers, took us by tuk tuk to a recommended non touristy restaurant on the beach. It is situated on a quite stretch of beach away from the crowds on Bentota beach. This was definitely one of the best places we stayed and not the most expensive.

The experience there was nothing less than absolutely fantastic. The hosts were extremely kind and attentive! We felt so welcome. The room was decorated upon arrival and we received a welcome drink and a flower necklace right away. The location is beautiful and close to the beach, which is highly recommended, the room is comfortable and the breakfast was amazing. We've had dinner at "The Boiling Lobr" right by the beach which was also delicious and is recommended. We would have prolonged our stay especially for this hotel. It was one of the best stays we have experienced and would recommend it to anyone who travels to Bentota.
