"Great accommodation and welcome to an Auckland Victorian home."

Victorian home was well decorated and modernized. Hosts Heather & Roy was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Room and property access was extraordinary.

Excellent location. Exquisitely modernized 1800’s home. Spacious bedrooms with large attached en-suite. Quiet neighborhood with easy access to restaurants as well as to downtown Auckland and the Harbour. Beautiful landscape and outdoor spaces to relax. Very comfortably.

Beautifully restored 1880’s building with an interior that is modern but with loads of antiques and quirks. Hosts were super friendly and informative.

The only downside for a longer stay would be using Uber to get into town. However very efficient and reasonable Uber system. Lots of local facilities and points of interest.

What we got valuable extra was the nice chatting with the owners. My very first experience with the locals. They also provided us with useful information about Auckland and NZ. The villa is unique, like staying in a fairy tale for a bit.

This was an amazing stay. Will highly recommend this home. Love the architecture and how quiet it was. Easy access to transportation and local cuisine. The host did an amazing job with recommending things to do and see.

There was nothing we did not like.

"A beautiful place to stay with fabulous hosts"

Heather and Roy were the perfect hosts and their home is delightful. My partner ,a friend and I stayed as we were all attending a wedding , Roy and Heather had no issues with other friends changing at their place and then very kindly driving us all to the wedding. Breakfast delicious and Roy has great barista skills making great coffee. Mount Eden is a lovely village , with great cafes bars restaurants a lovely walk away and great views from Mt Eden . Their home is beautiful, the rooms lovely and comfortable and lovely outdoor area and indoor areas for relaxing. I would highly recommend staying at The Grange.
