Restview

Good location.

Hard to locate when we arrived and was asked questions re our Covid status and whether we had at this present time a cough or cold which we felt unnecessary. We felt this was very inappropriate No wi-if or internet access or TV in room and nowhere to relax except on the bed. The continental breakfast was average and it seemed like the hosts over supervised our every move watching us eat. We have stayed in very many B & Bs in New Zealand over the years but we would not recommend Restview as we did not feel comfortable or welcome here. Hosts overbearing.

The location was absolutely beautiful! The hosts were so lovely and very kind towards me and my friend, it was awesome getting to know them and their home in Dunedin. As for the room, it was very cute and very tidy. We didn’t come across a single problem. The breakfast that was provided the next morning was also very nice, with there being a wide spread of choices, along with the hosts engaging in conversations with us. Overall, the stay at Restview well and truely exceeded our expectations and we will most definitely recommend this space to others in the future!

Amazing breakfast.

This was within someones home. Did feel a little strange, as had expected a little more separation especially when booking through booking.com. I expected a hotel room not air bnb situation.

Very comfortable bed, attentive hosts.

Lovely modern home with great view of harbour. Plentiful continental breakfast. Lovely bedding

Sadly no coffee/tea making facilities in room although owner did provide flask hot water for tea and coffee on tray in evening
