Please be aware check-in is strictly by 20:30, there is no facility to check in after 20:30. This property does not accept American Express cards. Directions - South Bound: Take the A1 road towards London, notice A1/A421 roundabout; stay on A1, the entrance to Highfield Farm is exactly 2.5 miles on the left, directly from the A1. Drive slowly and watch for the yellow/black sign. Directions - North Bound: Take the A1 Road towards ‘The North’, notice at Sandy roundabout the A603 (to left) towards Bedford but stay on A1, after about 1.5 miles, having passed a filling station, leave A1 to the left for Blunham, then immediately turn right to access a new bridge over A1. Do a u-turn over A1 and rejoin the A1 towards London and Sandy, Highfield Farm is 300 yards on the left, directly from A1. Drive slowly and watch for the yellow/black sign. Due to the property being an arable farm, dust and noise is possible at times.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. Managed by a private host A deposit may be required at the property.

"Family farm with friendly atmosphere."

Lovely big room, with plenty of tea, coffee, hot-choc (and home made shortbread!). The host gave me a quick tour so I knew where everything was including the use of a huge guest sitting room/dinning room. I was able to have my picnic tea after a day of travel in the sitting room which was a lovely change of having to eat a sandwich whilst sat in bed. Host was very accomodating for my early departure and had my breakfast ready. Do make sure you read the instructions on how to fin the farm - especially if you are arriving at night - it would be easy to miss the turning. Host was also really helpful letting me know about overnight road closures, really thoughtful. I have already recommended the B+B to others, and if I need accomodation again in the area I would return.

That I had to leave so early in the morning for work! I would love to have arrived earlier to explore the area and left later to enjoy the room and facilities more.

The farm house stands up a short spur road from the A 1, but you are not conscious of that in the beautifully prepared and equipped rooms. The breakfast is ample and delicious; the welcome warm and helpful.

We could find nothing at all to complain about.

Annmarie was really friendly and welcoming on arrival and checked in multiple times to see if everything was ok with our stay. She was very helpful with travel times to our destination. The breakfast was lovely. Would definitely stay again. Thanks
