Absolutely stunning property, lovely welcoming hosts and delicious breakfast. We loved every minute of our stay!

The location was great and had awesome views of the bay. Additionally, the breakfasts on both mornings were fabulous! We used the hot tub one night which was an added bonus to a really nice B&B set up. Gail and Brendon could not have been more accommodating and friendly - we loved chatting with them during our stay.

Gail and Brendon were wonderful hosts and welcomed us like family! Breakfast was excellent, with great views of the beach and hills! We enjoyed wine with our hosts in the afternoon and they told us about things to do in the area.

Absolutely loved the place and the hosts! Outdoor spa was a bonus after a long walk in the hills.

Newton Heights is one of the most beautiful B&B's we've been to. Outstanding hospitality, great breakfast, lovely house and harbour view and very friendly hosts. There is no better place in Akaroa.

The breakfast and hospitality were absolutely amazing. Loved the couple of days we spent there. Great conversations with the delightful hosts and the breakfasts was just next level good, they have thought of everything

Gail and Brendon were the nicest hosts and really looked after us during our staying at Newton Heights in Akaroa. The breakfasts, served on the verandah with views to the bay, are made by Gayle and really are the best ever and set us up till dinner time! Brendon helped us with which restaurants to try and locations to drive or hike, and his advice was spot on. Such a special part of NZ but it helps to have local knowledge. I loved that the house is situated 5 mins away from the main street in town - close enough to easily walk in for an icecream, but far enough to be away from the tourists and relax quietly in the hot tub. Perfect place to stay and we would definitely come again. Wonderful hosts who really care and enjoy meeting their visitors. Thank you Gayle and Brendon very much for having us to stay.
