Pisa House Lakefront Boutique B&B

Breakfast was great and different each day. It was a ‘passive’ house very interesting. Sam and Fred thought of everything. They were charming.

Everything was perfect.

The daily breakfast was way beyond what we expected - superb. The room refreshments that you would normally pay for are all part of the price, a very nice surprise. We will be staying there again on our next travels down there.

The hosts Fred and Samantha were absolutely fantastic. We were made to feel welcome in their beautiful location and home. Breakfasts were a delight.

Superbly equipped with all the amenities one expects from a good B&B. The standard of the accommodation set in picturesque location near the lake is high. The hosts were friendly and welcoming.

The room rates were little too high. But this is a reflection of the high cost of living in the area.

The room was beautiful, spotlessly clean and had everything I needed for my stay. What really stood out was the hospitality: the owners are kind and thoughtful and put on the most delicious breakfasts every day!

This B&B location is the most cozy place we had stayed at during our trip to New Zealand. It provides all the basic amenities that a traveller will require, such as towels, a comfortable bed & pillows, tv and kettles with cups. The rooms are also well insulated and soundproof thanks to the triple glass that they have in the house. The room we had faced a nice lake view and they also provide delicious breakfast for those who stay as a guest, such as pastry, granola, and a big main breakfast. The couple running this B&B, Samantha and Fred, are very hospitable and are kind to approach and chat with to learn more about New Zealand.

Samantha and her husband make you feel like at home. They treated us like family since the start (allowing us to check in early, helping us when getting sick, etc). They are just adorable. And their place is absolutely stunning. The attention to detail is insane - beautiful and comfortable rooms to say the least. Breakfast was unreal. And the lake at the property is just beautiful - very local feel and just gorgeous.
