Elizabeth is such a wonderful host and an absolute pleasure to meet and talk to. A beautiful house in an excellent location with a lovely breakfast. Comfy beds, very quiet and spacious room with restaurants and pubs just a short drive away.

The owner, Elizabeth, was friendly and welcoming and our two friends who were over from Australia loved it and thought it was the best place they'd stayed. We also visited the local church and a resident, Peter, saw us and showed us round, including some interesting local history and burials discovered in the churchyard. There pub is closed, but next door to the pub is aThe Melody House, where we could buy drinks and drink in there Plenty of parking, WiFi, great breakfasts. We all stayed for 3 nights and did say trips out and would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone.

The Dower House is a beautiful house which is kept in impeccable condition. Kept and maintained to the highest of standards throughout. Being a guest was great with super comfy accommodation, great shower and a superb breakfast all with wonderful country surroundings. The host was very pleasant and professional. I would have no hestition recommending to friends. Comfy bed, terrific cooked breakfast and cereals etc. spotless throughout. Reasonably priced and will stay again without a doubt.

There was nothing I disliked about the property, host or other guests.
