Breakfast was fantastic, proper ingredients properly cooked, plus a good selection of cereals and fruit. The host is friendly and attentive, the garden and surroundings are beautiful it's quiet and peaceful. If these things are what you're looking for then it's perfect.

Well, there is no pub in the village, currently (March 2025) but there's a very good fishnchip/general takeaway.

The cooked breakfast I had was lovely including the homemade jam and lovely bread. The room was warm and the bed very comfortable. I loved the outlook from the windows .

There was nothing I didn’t like at all

My stay at this charming property was a delightful experience from start to finish. The peaceful, calm surroundings created a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. Our lovely host was warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The rooms were immaculately clean and featured unique, tasteful decor that added to the property's character. Each morning, we were treated to a delicious cooked English breakfast prepared by our gracious host - a perfect way to start the day. The restful, peaceful nights of sleep were exactly what we needed. It was an added bonus to be greeted by the friendly black Labrador during our stay. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a tranquil, comfortable retreat. The combination of the beautiful setting, attentive hospitality, and lovely accommodations made for an exceptional visit. We hope to return again soon!

Liz was an excellent host, welcoming us with tea and home made cake! The house is large but cosy and the breakfast was excellent.

Lovely B&B in quiet location. Liz is a super friendly host and cooks a lovely breakfast. Comfy room with large bathroom and excellent WiFi. Plenty of parking and easy to find.

TV is temperamental and suddenly turned itself on at 2am in the morning! The following night we switched it off at the wall.
