"Top Unterkunft!"

The Old Bookstore hat unsere Erwartungen total erfüllt. Da wir fünf Personen waren haben wir die komplette Unterkunft für uns gehabt. Das Apartment ist direkt über einen alten Buchladen und ist sehr schön urig eingerichtet. Wir haben uns so wohlgefühlt. Die Inhaber waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch für ein sehr gutes und ausreichendes Frühstück wurde gesorgt. Der ganze Kühlschrank war gut gefüllt und für jeden war etwas dabei. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Es hat viele Sachen fürs Frühstück im Kühlschrank. Das Abendessen nimmt man am besten mit, Flateyri ist ein kleines Dorf.

Ein bisschen teuer (190 Euro pro Nacht in der Nebensaison)!

"Full of character, charm, and absolutely stunning views."

The house itself is so charming and well kept-- not to mentioned how incredible the shop downstairs is. The town is remote but not a far drive from the busier Ísafjörður. Still, you cannot beat the views here. The staff was so incredibly welcoming -- and touches like the chocolate in the room, the well-stocked kitchen, the comfortable common areas, made for such a nice stay.

Couldn't have asked for a better stay!

Het gastenverblijf is gelegen boven de oude boekenwinkel. Er zijn drie slaapkamers en de keuken, badkamers en zitruimte deel je met andere gasten. Het hele gebouw ademt authenticiteit uit. Een aantal leuke, kleine attenties maakten dat we ons heel welkom voelden. Uiteraard boet je wat in op ruimte en comfort, maar dat hoort er gewoon bij als je hier wil verblijven. De bedden zijn klein, maar zeker comfortabel. Een van de badkamers beschikt over een mooie, ruime douche. Alles was kraaknet, wat een hele klus moet zijn in een dergelijk gebouw. Als je houdt van authenticiteit raad ik een verblijf hier zeker aan.

"a little journey through time"

Unique accommodation with a lot of charm. Reminded me a lot of my grandmother's flat. Self-catering breakfast with a good selection. Rooms and beds were comfortable. The village is also charming. Definitely the better choice to sleep here rather than in overcrowded Isafjordur.

What a dream place, the decoration is perfectly curated. It felt as we travelled in time. The owner was a fantastic person and deserves congratulations for such special hotel.

"Kom ánægjulega á óvart."

Mjög hlýlegt. Nostrað við öll smáatriði. Heimilislegt andrúmsloft. Spjall við aðra gesti við morgunverðarborðið. Lítið og persónulegt. Hentar vel þeim sem finnst gömul hús notaleg.

Herbergið var í minni kantinum. Hentar ekki fyrir stórar ferðatöskur, sem kom ekki að sök í mínu tilfelli en væri heldur þröngt fyrir tvo.
