So viel geschichte!

"Perfect lodging in a serenely peaceful location."

10.0

A very quaint and sensitively restored property housing the oldest continuously operating bookshop in Iceland with a suite of three rooms above sharing breakfast and bathroom facilities. Stuffed with antiques and a completely authentic 1960s or maybe 50s kitchen. The refrigerator is loaded with excellent quality breakfast goodies that you can help yourself to. The staff are simply wonderful. You must visit the bookshop on your visit, it is one of the most stylish and thoughtful shops in Iceland, possibly Europe.

Nothing I can think of. Just be mindful that in the winter, nothing is open after 6 o’clock. Having said that, it’s only a 15 minute drive to Ísafjörður if you need a restaurant, supermarket, petrol et cetera.
