Having been for 3 occasions last year, have got to know the owner. We have a common interest in fell-walking and get on.

Really enjoyed our stay at No.3. Perfect location to the town, literally a 2 minute walk. Alison is an exceptional host. Very warm and welcoming she really is a delightful lady. Room had everything we needed and spotlessly clean and beds very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and nicely presented. Especially liked the Cumberland sausage. Dining room spotlessly clean as is the rest of the property. No.3 is the best and we will certainly be returning to stay with Alison soon

The hostess of this accommodation is meticulous. My friends and I stayed for two nights and could not fault a single thing. We had a wonderful time due to the hard work of our hostess. Breakfast was delicious, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the location was convenient and very central for exploring the Penrith and the Lake District.
