Clare was a warm host. Room was comfortable with a great view.

Just a shower caddy would be nice but not a big issue

Very welcoming, warm, clean and quiet. slept very well and woke feeling refreshed. Will certainly check here again for availability when staying in the area. I never managed to make breakfast unfortunately but was given a very welcomed pack up to take with me. Thank you for that, it was a great help.

Couldnt fault anything.

The property is handy to the Wasdale Head entrance to the Scafall Pike and just a little walk into Gosforth so a lovely dinner and a drink can be had easily

It is a great place although be prepared it is a working farm with calves, sheep, dogs, chickens, roosters, ducks & geese. Its thriving with animals and activity

The host Clare is very welcoming and friendly, we felt like home. The location is perfect to explore the lakes and hike the Scafell Pike. The homemade breakfast was delicious with vegetarian options available.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

Lovely surroundings, delicious breakfast, wonderful views, friendly cows and wonderful hostess.

Dogs barked rather a lot, but not disturbing.

I booked last minute and was made to feel very A welcome. A comfortable stay with a tasty breakfast.

The wonderful view of the western fells was an unexpected surprise. Bedroom has a very comfortable bed and the decor is restful. The hospitality tray had a jug of milk as well as mugs, kettle & a wide selection of drinks. Clare, the host & her son were very friendly & welcoming.

The farm track down from the road is a bit rough but no problem if taken gently.

Breakfast delicious. Lovely house. Very friendly and helpful host. Beautiful view from window. Peaceful surroundings. Room fantastic. Excellent in every way.

Big pothole at entrance to farm but avoidable.
