"Peaceful and refreshing!"

Beautiful mountain setting. The lodge was expansive and perfect to relax at the end of the day, as well as sociable for breakfast. Our cabin was comfortable and clean.

"We only stayed one night, however, we enjoyed it so much. We plan on going back for a full weekend this summer or fall."

The views of the hills were spectacular from the outdoor seating areas. They have laundry, facilities, and toiletries if need be.

Would've liked to have had a waistband for pet waste. Would have liked to have had some glassware and dinner wear/ utensils in the common kitchen for the cabins.

David and Ginger (new owners) were very friendly and helpful. Great beds, clean and nice. Location was very peaceful, quiet and scenic. Great breakfast. We enjoyed our stay.

We love the location that was on top of the mountain, offering stunning views, especially sunrise and sunset. Blue Ridge Parkway 10 minutes away going up to Roanoke. Cozy cabins, great company, and services. Supper pet friendly! We'll definitely visit again.

Our hosts Ginger and David were amazing. A lovely couple. A warm welcome and tour of lodge and gorgeous property. Secure yard for our pup to run. Very comfy bed and pillows. Clean, secure rooms. Close to Treehouse Tavern for evening meal. Breakfast was delightful- shared by other interesting guests. Wish we could have stayed longer than one night. Hope to return.

That we could only enjoy this lodge for one night.😢

"Exceptional place worth visiting just to stay at."

What a gem! Our family of two adults, one infant, and two pups loved our stay. The lodge is exceptionally cozy, it really feels like home and we could have stayed much longer. The owners are incredibly kind and accommodating, we really enjoyed chatting with them at breakfast. We were able to charge our electric car no problem. The room was large and comfortable, the lodge itself is modern but cozy. We had crummy weather so I can't comment on the views but we will be back to see them another time! Well worth a weekend getaway from any of the urban areas around, including the 4 hour drive from DC.
