"Would definitely stay there again, loved the cabins and views."

The views breathtaking, accommodation excellent and both hosts very welcoming and attentive. The location very peaceful and beds very comfortable.

The lodge is not local to any shops and food outlets. As we were unaware of this fact, we arrived and were unable to have a dinner. The hosts then provided us with a light supper, which was greatly appreciated.

Everything about this place is a gem. Probably Virginia's best kept secret. The views are stunning. The hosts were delightful. The lodge just so beautiful and tastefully done.

Overall LOVED this place!! - New owners very nice, in the process of fixing the place up. would come back in a heartbeat!! well worth it. Very peaceful

It's a dirt road to the Lodge, so Bikers may find it difficult to travel the road. Parking lot is very small

"Relaxing and comfortable."

Beautiful location. Quiet and calm. Just far enough outside of Roanoke to not take long to get into town. Close to the Blur Ridge Parkway. The main lodge was outstanding. Loved the kitchen area. Room was very comfortable. Had a great old time feel to it. The owners are awesome.

Not much. Didn't care for the uncontrollable fog. Just that time of year but that just means we have to go back.

The room was nicely decorated with some appreciated features. The panoramic view from the deck was incredible! There were many nice public spaces and beautiful plantings on the grounds.

David and Ginger are very welcoming hosts. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom clean. The view from the balcony is incredible, looking right over the Blue Ridge Mountains

An option for evening meals would be nice, given the remote location. There is a restaurant 3 miles away, which served good food.

"I would stay here again and again. It’s a really nice place ran by an awesome, friendly couple."

The property was very nice. The views were breathtaking. The site was maintained very well.

The one and only drawback was the breakfast. The photo of the breakfast on the site isn’t like the one offered. We wanted more hot options.
