Bent Mountain Lodge

The property has some breath taking views, the owner is very friendly, professional and very welcoming. This is a hidden gem. The Coyote Cabin was very clean.

The private road is a little ruff, being a dirt and rock covered road with many small washout areas.

Stunning location, beautifully decorated rooms, hospitality of hosts.

Lack of local dining options.

We loved staying at this property, the hosts were welcoming and couldn’t do enough in making us feel at home. The views were amazing and the lovely breakfast set us up for the day ahead.

There was nothing we didn’t like about this place.

Great views! Nice property in the country. Good for a weekend getaway or stopover while driving the Blue Ridge Parkway. Friendly owners.

We weren’t aware it was down a gravel road (was driving a low clearance vehicle). Air conditioning unit was loud and fan clicked, waking us up when AC unit came on and off during the night.

We absolutely loved Bent Mountain Lodge. The views were simply beautiful and the property is absolutely gorgeous with amazing communal areas including a large living room with games and a big TV, an exercise room and a fabulous deck where we spent happy evenings. The outside space is fenced in so the kids could run around and play. The owners were so helpful even organising and collecting takeaway pizza for us when we didn’t realise the local restaurant was closed for the 4th of July. A real rural retreat, we definitely hope to go back again.

We liked everything

They had updated the common areas of the property and the family who owned it was very nice.

The rooms were dated and the carpet and beds were old and not all that inviting.

It was very convenient, yet basic. It fit the value we paid for the room but had plenty to offer. Additionally, We were greeted with waffles by the owners on Sunday!

There really wasn't anything not to like. The new owners are in the process of improving and updating the property as a whole.

It’s beautiful. Comfortable and the owners were great.

We liked everything about this property. This property is a little gem. The scenery blew us away. Very comfortable. We were lucky to spend a little time with the host who was very hospitable and felt that we could have easily passed the day just chatting. We’re sorry we hadn’t stayed for longer.
