Judy is a very hospitable lady who knows the local area very well. The property is easy to find and has good off street parking

Breakfast was plentiful and a great opportunity to meet other guests in the communal dining space. Judy was the perfect host, very friendly and helpful with her local knowledge of the area.

Heat lamp in standard light fitting in bathroom appeared to be possible fire hazard.

Tout, à commencer par l'accueil de notre charmante hôtesse qui nous a prodigué de nombreux conseils. La chambre avec SDB privative était au top, de même que la terrasse équipée. Le petit déjeuner était copieux et varié (le meilleur pris en NZ) et le matériel de cuisine particulièrement complet et de qualité.

Judy was a very kind and knowledgeable host, ready to offer up recommendations and advice. The b&b is located on a quiet side of town with views of the mountains, but you can still walk downtown if you don't mind a bit of a walk. Our room had a private external bathroom, which was nice to have. We were going for a whalewatching trip in the morning, for which the office is just a few minutes drive down the road.
