The owners are extremely kind, friendly, and welcoming. Since we were leaving very early in the morning for a whale-watching tour, they thoughtfully placed our breakfast in the room fridge the night before. The room was beautiful and very clean, with a lovely view. A strategic location for visiting Kaikoura. Highly recommended.

Hosts were so welcoming and lovely people. Hosts live upstairs and hosted us for a healthy breakfast too next morning! Appreciated the hosts flexibility with check in and check out time. Great location right next to dolphin encounter

The room has everything you need; it is nicely decorated, very clean, and completely independent. The sea is right in front of you. The house is comfortable and stylishly decorated. The breakfast is excellent, and Patrick is a wonderful host. He is fun and can give you great advice for your visits.
