White Caps Kaikoura Farmstay

Die Unterkunft ist eine außerordentlich schön eingerichtete Ferienwohnung auf 2 Ebenen. Liebevoll gestaltet und sehr sauber. Obwohl wir ohne Frühstück gebucht hatten, standen uns Kaffee, Tee, Cerialien, Brot, Marmelade etc zur Verfügung. Sehr viele schöne Details und ein super Ausblick aufs Meer und die Berge. Schön, die Kühe zu beobachten und die friedliche Atmosphäre zu genießen.

Das Stichwort sind 2 Ebenen. Leider ist im oberen Bereich des Schlafzimmers keinerlei Möglichkeit zum Verdunkeln vorhanden. Das, in Kombination mit einem hellen Sommerhimmel und einer um ca. 06:00 Uhr ins Zimmer scheinenden Sonne, stehen einem ausgiebigen Urlaubsschlaf eher konträr gegenüber. Schade.....ansonsten war es super.

Absolutely loved everything, had 3 nights but could have stayed ages, one of our favourites in a 6 week holiday.

This accommodation was absolutely fabulous and above our expectations. Everything was so well thought out - the decor and furnishings are top notch and it is very spacious and comfortable. Our host, Indigo was so welcoming, friendly, and helpful with local recommendations. Breakfast items were provided and we didn’t miss having a kitchen or kitchenette as you still have dishes and a refrigerator. Plus there are lots of great places to eat in town. The view was the bonus to all this. You have a large deck with an amazing view all around. Highly recommend staying here!!

We loved everything!

We enjoyed the views, being out in the country & having space to spread out in the unit. The unit is nicely decorated & has many books, puzzles, art & reading materials of interest. We enjoyed meeting the owner & her dog Bonnie. Indigo was accommodating to us by lending us a space heater & tea & honey for our colds. Watching the bunnies & cows in the mountain backdrop was a treat!

Darker curtains would help to reduce the glare of the bright NZ sun in the morning. It would be helpful as a Bed & Breakfast to have another sink besides the one in the bathroom to clean the dishes.

Beautiful farm stay with amazing views To the mountains and ocean view sunrises. Very nice host.

A unique farm cottage studio in extraordinary nature views, being between the sea and snow capped montains. A warm welcoming hospitality by Indigo who let us feel at home and made our stay a special experience.

We loved our stay here. Indigo is so lovely and welcoming, and the location is beautiful. It is quiet and peaceful but not too remote. You wake up to the cows grazing and a stunning view. So much effort has been put into the details of this place that it feels like staying in a relative’s home. There are games, books, breakfast items, cups, plates, and everything you could possibly need. All the little decorations match the relaxed Kaikoura vibe perfectly. Honestly, the photos do not do this place justice. It was one of our favourite stays in New Zealand and we would love to come back one day.
