The room is nice, clean and cozy and has everything in it. There’s a nice balcony too where you can relax. The hostess is super nice and friendly and will give you ideas what to do in the area. We had a lovely day there and recommended the place.

There’s a rather steep staircase of 10-12 stairs to the room. It was ok for us but good to know in advance.

Duxbnb was a great place to stay for several nights whilst exploring the area. We stayed for 3 nights and could happily stay for longer. The room was extremely welcoming and comfortable and we had everything we could need. It was spotlessly clean and in a good location on the edge of town, only an hours drive from Tongariro or Whanganui. Breakfast was delicious and the hosts very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

I found the pillows were mostly too thick. That is a personal preference.

Stairs very steep and tread narrow. Property is located on State highway so be prepared for rumbling trucks throughout the night - if you're a light sleeper bring ear plugs. The breakfast was simple.

Host was very accommodating and helpful. Bed was comfortable. TV offered a wide range of streaming options. Good stop over location from Wellington to Rotorua.
