BAD BUGS BE AWARE AND WORST CUSTOMER CARE EVER! in my first night at bamboo house after only 3 hours of sleep I woke up and found all my arms and hands full of scratchy bites, in the beginning I thought about mosquitoes bites but I felt right away that was something else because usually I handle mosquitoes bite really good, in my second day I asked for a mosquitoes net and they just give it to my in a beg and had to set it up my self (really professional). I went to sleep and same thing, after only 3/4 hours of sleep I woke up again in the middle of the night whit my legs and all my back full of bites, after that I start looking for bad bags, I found 1 on my pillow and few more on the mattress so I went right away to speak whit the owner. when she woke up I explain the situation and show her all the bites but she was not worried about me at all, first thing she asked me was “ do you have pictures? no? then is not true”. I ask for a refund but she refused to give me my money back, then I call the police and when the police show up and took pictures of all my bites also the police told her to give me my money back but she refused also in front of the police keep saying that I was lying and all that bites where from sunflys or jellyfish, but that’s impossible because I had no bites before going to bed. then I asked her to at least give me the money of my last night, that of course I didn’t spent there (because I payed for 3 nights whit booking and only spent 2 there) and she refused also to give me the money of the last night keeping saying that I should contact booking and ask my money back to them, that is exactly what I did but booking did not refund me anything (I was expecting that) because the property didn’t agree to give me a refund, she keep saying also to booking customer service that I was lying and I made everything up.

We liked the animals, the environment, the location and that’s it.

Really bad experience. Bad customer service, not one smile. They make you pay for everything and anything. Do not recommend if you want to experience a nice and peaceful Filipino experience in a true Filipino hostel. Too many rules and manager not friendly. There is written that there is wifi connexion, that was not true. We rented 2 scooters for 2 days, 48 hours. We needed the scooters 3 more hours, until the night, they made us pay a whole day for that, it was impossible to negotiate, even to pay for half a day. This is the first time this happened to us in the country. When we returned the scooters, there was a very small amount of fuel missing for the full fuel tank, they made us pay for it… There’s a lot better around with nicer people.

It was far from the tourist spots and the highway. Long ride from the town proper.
