"Great atmosphere, friendly traditional Inn, great food, perfect for break in the Peak District"

10.0

Located in a small quiet village in the beautiful Peak District. A welcoming traditional Inn with delicious food, locally brewed beer and great atmosphere with walkers and dogs enjoying the pub when we arrived late afternoon. The staff were so friendly and really helpful, our bedroom was comfortable and clean and pub was really nicely decorated. Comfortable bed and we quiet night. Highly recommend

"Excellent stay can’t wait to go back. It was a bonus that it was dog friendly my dog enjoyed his too."

9.0

It was comfortable and relaxing staff were really friendly. The food was lovely I highly recommend the pulled pork burger, onion rings and apple crumble and the breakfast is lovely. We only stayed two nights but are ready planning to go next year for six nights as we enjoyed our stay so much. I would recommend a visit.

"Great base for exploring the Peaks."

8.0

Staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room was nice and the location was great for getting around the district with some good walking close by and places of interest minutes away. Breakfast really set you up for the day.

Only the noise from pub customers at night, but we were expecting that.
