"We had an amazing stay. The owners are dedicated to ensure a fabulous time is had by all who stay."

Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Lots of choice and everything was well displayed and varied. We did not have a cooked breakfast but they were ordered by other guests and looked incredible.

There was nothing to dislike about the hotel. The couple who own the hotel are ‘honest to goodness’ hard working grafters who are intent to do their best to manage a country inn. The staff and owners could not be more accommodating and are generous to a fault. The only thing was that it was slightly difficult to traverse the verges at the sides of the roads from the hotel on foot to reach some of the walks. This is obviously not related to the hotel itself but may influence a decision made by someone less able to walk on unstable terrain. However, there are ideal walks only a short drive away and Buxton is a short drive from the hotel (10 miles) only.
