Lovely and peaceful. Out in the countryside. Idyllic setting. Beautiful room. Fridge and microwave were a great bonus. Bath and shower were mostly great. Staff were extremely helpful and didn’t hesitate to account for allergies and intolerances.

No cooked breakfast. Gravel driveway was tough on the mobility scooter. Bath screen opened inwards which was awkward. But these were minor points and didn’t detract from a lovely stay.

"Comfortable and warm."

The location and room were ideal for the two of us traveling with our dog. A fridge , kettle, microwave and toaster were provided in the room. Breakfast supplies were also provided.

The shower cubicle floor grouting needs steam cleaning or replacing.

"Review of pear tree cottage."

Room was clean and comfortable. Location OK for 1 night stay, transit for travel the next day.

"Continental Breakfast" was disappointing. Cereals, 4 slices of bread wrapped in cling film, yoghurt and 2 apples in the fridge. Not my idea of continental breakfast. However, when I messaged the host for alternatives, requesting for 'croissants, other fruits eg bananas and porridge, she did oblige with 'long life croissants, porridge and 2 satsumas and additional teabags

Set in the beautiful hills of Buckinghamshire; plentiful continental breakfast, ready to go in your room with mini fridge, kettle and microwave; spacious bathroom; clean and comfortable.

Towels and pillows could use refreshing or replacement. Hairdryer and an extra roll of toilet tissue would be handy.

"Excellent value, very clean, good facilities."

Spotlessly clean. Large comfy bed. Good selection of basic breakfast supplies provided. The room was serviced which was a nice surprise when I returned in the evening.

Overall it was very good, but the decor was a little bit basic.
