The Stables B&B @ Pear Tree Cottage

Lovely clean room. Simple DIY continental breakfast but a good variety of options. Our host was helpful in offering tips for our trip to Oxford. It was lovely having our picnic dinner overlooking the surrounding fields.

Our initial communication with our host indicated we would be staying in the end room with more windows and a better view. However on arrival we were placed in the smaller room despite being the only ones staying that night. It was only for one night so it was not much of an issue and we used the deck by that room for our picnic anyway (luckily no-one was staying as this would have been annoying to other guests if they had been there)

Breakfast was fine -

however I slept badly - generally I really dislike duvets but in this case the duvet was so small it hardly covered the bed - so I recommend that the host buys bigger duvets. also I suggest he moves the temperature control to away from th bed as the blue light is very disturbing

Nothing

I stayed here when on business and found the room clean and spacious as was the shower room as well. Location was very quiet and bed comfortable which gave a great night's sleep. Breakfast provided was a selection of cereals ,yoghurt, bread for toast and juice which for me was ideal. Great value deal, nothing not to like!

The bed was awful so uncomfortable. 2 beds sipped together . Could feel ever spring
