My room was small but well appointed and very comfortable. The view from my window was straight down the street towards the town and I could just see Whitby Abbey in the distance. The little en-suite bathroom was convenient and well appointed, though I struggled to set the temperature of the shower. It was very hot! I did not have breakfast at Arundel House.

The wall adjoining my room to the adjacent one was not at all soundproof. I could hear conversations taking place in the next room, though not the absolute details! Thankfully the occupants were quiet during the night.

Location. Ease of Parking. Excellent choice of breakfast Pleasant staff. Would definitely use Arundel House again

Final flight of staircase a bit demanding for persons of an older age

The room was tidy clean and we had everything we needed. Staff were lovely.

The walls were thin so neighbors were very noisy that was the only problem.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, good location just far enough away from the noise and bustle but easy to walk to, very comfortable bed and large room

The bathroom smelt a bit of damp like drain smell, and there was thick dust round side of cupboards otherwise was lovely
