Abbey and Esk Bed and Breakfast

Possibly one of the best places we've ever stayed and this is down to Ruth and Tony. The room had a perfect harbour view,breakfast was absolutely amazing and the bed was like sleeping in a cloud. People have said the walk up the 5 or 6 flights of stairs was tough but we thought it was ideal exercise.

The Abbey and Esk was perfect. Location, parking, such perfect hosts Ruth and Tony thank you. Our bedroom was perfect, the view. You never tire of it… so comfortable, so clean. The breakfast was so tasty and so much choice. Thank you once again … a total gem 💎

Everything, Anthony and Ruth a lovely couple, very friendly and chatty, and Anthony made sure we got a parking space, property very close to Whitby, 5 minute walk, loved everything about our stay, would highly recommend,

Lovely welcome and we were very well looked after. Had everything you needed, perfect location close to town.

Fantastic Room, very clean & beautiful décor and lovely view, lovely fluffy towels and duck feather quilt with comfy pillows, location was perfect 5 mins within walking distant of town centre/train station, the host were lovely, and it had a home from home feel

Family run felt like a home from home. Ruth and Tony were amazing breckfest was very nice and the location so close to everything will definitely be booking again ❤️

Tony & Ruth were absolutely wonderful hosts, like you were staying with family and made us feel like we were, breakfast in the morning was superb, having read previous reviews about the stairs yes it was a climb, but having walked to the top where the Abbey was situated this was a walk in the park.
