Abbey and Esk Bed and Breakfast

Lovely bed and breakfast, area was quiet and a 5 minute walk into whitby town.

Owners were very friendly, and nothing was to much trouble, car parking outside the accomodation was a bonus, as no permit required, just a short 5/10 minute stroll into the town centre, great views of the steam trains, river Esk and the Abbey.

There was nothing we disliked about about our weekend break in Whitby

Fantastic couple with home from home comforts

Walking up the steps to the front door with the smell of the country garden flowers and something different to look at on each level, the garden is beautiful. We were welcomed by Ruth into her home which was stunning and quirky from the minute we stepped through door up the flights of stairs to our room. The room was comfortable, clean and had everything needed for a lovely stay. Ruth had a small fridge with water bottles on the landing and a bowl with extra tea, coffee and milks. There is a large lounge for guests to use overlooking the river. Breakfast was cooked beautifully, with cereal, fruit and yoghurt available. We had a wonderful stay and are already hoping to find a couple of days in the near future to return. Lovely stay, thank you.
