Carrança Lounge

There was plenty of room at Carranca Lounge. We had the 2 bedroom and a living room. Breakfast was served right outside of our room. Breakfast was really good. We loved the location. It is very quiet and close to Evora by car within a few minutes. Rita was very accommodating and gave us great selections for restaurants and places to see. I would stay here again. Also the dog is so friendly and loves to see everyone.

Summer house which is not really comfortable when you have cool weather

It is a simple, quiet, and clean place. If you want to relax, enjoy the countryside and nature, and have easy access by car to the town, it is a great place to stay. The breakfast is not included but it is worth the price. You need to let them know ahead of time if you are having breakfast at the place. The host Rita was very kind and wonderful. There is also a dog, Lobo, in the property that is friendly and gentle.

You can reach the property from two different directions. Both are dirt roads. Don't follow Google 's directions. It will take you through a dirt road with massive pot holes. Follow the directions given the property. There stll pot holes but smaller. Not too bad.

Great country atmosphere. Comfortable, charming, quiet. Lovely place and host. Wonderful rural surroundings. Very friendly giant dog.

We really enjoyed everything. You do need a car or taxi to get here.

Location was very close to Évora by car, host was super nice and very welcoming and always ready to help and the house had everything you need for a couple days rest.

Would suggest that for longer stays (over 3 days) maybe you could have a small portable stove.

It is very close to the Historic center in Evora, 10 min by car. We had an entire little house for ourselves. They have horses and a big sweet old dog . Rita is a lovely lady who made is feel as if we were family.

Nothing

We liked the fact that it was slightly out of Évora (though easy to reach by car) and rural. The house was comfortable, especially the bed! The kitchen area is small, but we really didn’t need it as we ate in the town and ordered Rita’s breakfast which had varied items and (the croissants were the freshest I’ve had!) certainly had enough - all very kindly presented on a tray by Rita. We enjoyed eating at the outside table in the morning sun! Rita also gave us a good recommendation, since it was on our route, to visit the charming hilltop village and castle of Monsaraz. Beautiful 360 deg views! We would definitely stay at La Carrancinha again!

Lovely rural stay in proximity to city and megaliths. With large pool. Breakfast is lovely.

Remember this is campo and you have the sounds of nature around.
