Spacious room, lovely atmosphere, very friendly hosts and excellent breakfast.

The room was delightful - spacious, nicely furnished, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We chose the option of a private sitting room for a very modest additional amount, and this provided a large TV, sofa and armchair, table and chairs, and kitchenette with fridge and microwave. The owners were friendly and welcoming, and the breakfasts were superb. Fantastic value. The location is great for touring the dales and there are many good walks from Askrigg.

There is no private parking due to the location of Sykes House in the centre of the village, but we always managed to find a space nearby.

Stayed 3 nights, owners very friendly, lovely room, very good breakfast, 9.5 out of 10, highly recommended.

Breakfast was of good quality, well presented and served. The location was unfamiliar to us but we were pleasantly surprised. Handy to have opertunity to eat evening meal in the village.

Synthetic pillows would have improved our experience as feather pillows are not suitable for everyone.

Superb room, everything was excellent, the hosts are very helpful and the breakfast was excellent. Can't recommend it enough.

Breakfast was great. The location was convenient to get around without too much drIving.
